It will generally be written by myself, perhaps with the odd guest writer when I am not available. My intention is to try and increase your awareness of the vast array of products and services that Twickenham has to offer and also to pass on information about the industry that will be of use to you.
Many of you have dealt with this business for a number of years and probably have a deep understanding of our capabilities, some of you may have only just started using us and some may have never dealt with us. In any case I am sure that there will be something here and in our monthly newsletter for all of you.
Twickenham's staff is now 70 strong and every one of us is totally committed to providing the very best quality of product and service to everyone of our customers in London and beyond. We are much more than just a "box shifter" and we offer a range of specialist services; Power Cable Distribution, Fixings and Tools, Datacomms, Access, Fire and Security, Facilities Management, Cable Accessories. These are areas of the business where we have invested heavily on both stock and specialist personnel to offer much more than you would expect from an electrical distributor. It is our intention to become a One Stop Shop solution not just for your company but for the projects you work on. The logistical benefits this can provide are immeasurable, not to mention the commercial benefits to those of you who's companies operate across a range of disciplines.
This week I would like to draw your attention to our Power Cable offering. Headed up by Wayne Holder,Cable Manager, we offer the largest stock holding and distribution fleet of any wholesaler in the UK. We are the only UK stockist of Prysmian's market leading FP600S Fire Performance Cable and support that with a full range of XLPE SWA cables, 6491Bs, AWA and 11KV. In addition we keep many specialist cables not traditionally associated with the wholesale distributor all of which are cut to length in house for immediate dispatch.
